Growing Language, Growing Mushrooms, Growing Partnership

The aim of the project is to embed and exploit IP, experience and expertise generated by Madarch Cymru over twenty years, into three west Wales communities; with the aim of giving deprived communities an opportunity to benefit from the project economically, socially, environmentally and especially culturally.

The project is essentially growing exotic/gourmet mushrooms, but the growing is a vehicle to take an existing product (that is easy to grow within units, with good commercial returns and known health benefits) into community growing units, and upskill local people.
